Everyone should be familiar with Anne of Green Gables. Everyone has seen the movies and everyone should read the books. I enjoyed every minute of reading this book. It has all the excitement of a blissful childhood and all the melancholy of real life. This book will make you laugh and make you cry. I can't help but think that Anne reminds me of my own Kendi. They compare similarly in imagination. This may be one of the first books I read together with my girls once we have officially started Home-School. It makes me anxious to get started and I can't wait to move on to the sequels.
